The album contains photographs taken at the dedication of the Montgomery Conifer Collection, which consisted of about 130 living species of pine, spruce, hemlock, yew, and cedar trees located on two acres in the southern part of the NYBG. Also, photographs of the types of conifers included in the collection, alphabetical by species, and conifer cones and conifers in Pine Valley, Rochester, N.Y.
